Day 60: San Francisco

Today Day 60, we have arrived in San Francisco. San Francisco is our goal! Today was my favorite day of the trip. Chinatown is amazing. It is the oldest Chinatown in North America and the largest Chinese community outside Asia. Since it's establishment in 1848, it has been highly important and influential in the history and culture of ethnic Chinese immigrants. Chinatown restaurants are considered to be the birthplace of Westernized Chinese cuisine. Chinatown has served as a backdrop for several movies and television shows. Actor Bruce Lee was born in San Francisco. The trip to Chinatown was my great pleasure.

Unbelievable! Unreal! Red!

Hi! I wrote this post from heart Red Canyon.

This is an incredible and fantastic place. It really is all red!

Today was day 45 of our wonderful route. I have visited the past, a few centuries ago. I have visited the Red Canyon.

It was one-way loop road, 13 miles long. I am very tired now. But it was a good experience.

Here, Hollywood filmed many westerns. I can’t believe it!

Carefully plan a trip to the Red Canyon, this is an incredible and fantastic place.

Las Vegas!

My incredible day 55. I went to Las Vegas for the first time, and I was very happy because the city is very exciting. There are many things to do, for example many casinos, shows, like the Blue Man group and I met many famous people. The city is beautiful and fantastic. It was my the best and crazy vacation. I promise go there again. In my opinion Las Vegas is the most exciting city that I have ever seen in all my life, my day 55 was really good.

Day30: Kansas "Tornado Alley"

I'm in Kansas, which is a state in the middle of the lower 48 states. Kansas is famous for destructive tornadoes. It is also part of  "Tornado Alley", the part of the USA. A city in Kansas was destroyed by Baxter Spring tornado. Their houses were destroyed and their car windows blown out. A group of people from Kansas City brought food and water to Baxter. People were cleaning their houses and searching for their property here. They lost their property and memories inside their houses. I felt pity for this disaster.

Breaking news from Kansas!

Hi! We are on the road for one month already. We are in Kansas. It is called the “Bread Basket of America” because so much wheat is grown here.

Kansas also in “Tornado Alley”. It is known for very destructive tornados.My friends and I experienced it.

Tornado “Buxter Spring”.

A tornado passed near us. Buxter destroyed 90 homes. Together with rescuers, we participated in cleaning up and helped give food and water to people. One family was still alive, locked in a closet.

It was very extreme.

Hi, Southern Appalachia!

Kentucky. Here it is the first stop. Here I was on the highest point in the North Carolina, Eastern USA.

The Great Smoky Mountains.

The Great Smoky Mountains National Park preserves a rich cultural traditions of Southern Appalachian history. The mountains have had a long human history.

The park strives to protect the historic structures, landscapes, and artifacts.

In the Park many places to go: Cades Cove, Deep Greek, Roaring Fork, Mountain Farm etc.

Great Smoky Mountains National Park offers a myriad of activities for you to enjoy. The hardest part may be choosing which auto tour, trail, waterfall, overlook, or historic area to explore!

I'm recommend will visit to  Deep Greek. I'm chose activities:  walking trails and  picnic.

The Great Smoky Mountains.

The great smoky mountains in Tennessee, people call for The Appalachian Mountains and is located near the east coast of the USA. The highest point is located in the eastern USA. The mountains is 2,037 m above sea level. It're very beautiful with different types of  plants  and trees. Many tourists like to go there cause it's the perfect place for hiking, kayaking, camping and even skiing. If you like sports I recommend you to try go there, because it's the most amazing place I have ever seen in my life. So I have never been there but I read about the history, and I watched many videos and I sow a lot of pictures about the place. Now I'm really interested in meet this wonderful place.

BLUEGRASS MUSIC

Today Day 10, we have arrived in Kentucky. here i was able to learn about Bluegrass music.
Bluegrass. These type of music is popular and traditional american, with roots in music traditional of islands british. The instruments used in these type of music are violin, banjo, guitar, low acoustic fold and coutebaixa. O banjo is a instrument of  rope of ramely of a loude, the bar is circle form in posterior part. Fiddle is any bowed string musical instrument, most often the violin. Dulcimer isa stringed musical instrument with the string stretched over a trapezoidal sounding board. these instruments are special, which is what makes bluegrass a very special kind of music.

Day 10: Kentucky Cuisine

Today Day 10,we have arrived in Kentucky. In this area, there is the Southern cuisine, which is quite different from cuisine in the rest of the country. Pulled pork barbecue is one of the typical menu in the southern style. Pulled pork is a form of barbecue in which pork is cooked using a low-heat, long-cook method. With these extended times at low temperature, the meat becomes tender enough to be pulled easily into pieces. Lemon meringue pie is a pie containing lemon custard and topped with meringue. Chess pie is a particularly sugary dessert characteristic of Southern U.S. Fried apple pie is an apple pie fried for 3 minutes by oil. I have not tried the food yet, but it looks delicious.

Today is a beautiful day to start biking! I'm so excited about the trip across the USA.  We are in Yorktown, which is a very historic city in the USA. It was the site of the last battle in the Revolutionary War and the British surrender. You could say that it's the beginning of America, and also the beginning of our Happy Wheels journey!
